Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Aryan Bhambhani, operating as StashIt ("StashIt", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the StashIt iOS app, its share extension, and stashitai.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old — or the higher minimum age required for you to consent to a service like ours where you live (for example, 16 in parts of the EU) — to use StashIt. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms for you.
2. What StashIt is (and is not)
StashIt is a discovery tool. It analyzes content you choose to share with it and surfaces product information, links, and prices supplied by third parties. StashIt is not a retailer or marketplace. We do not sell products, we are not the seller of record, and we are not a party to any purchase you make. A price shown in StashIt is third-party information, not an offer by StashIt capable of acceptance.
3. Your content and the license you give us
When you share a link, photo, or other content with StashIt, you direct us to retrieve and process it on your behalf. You keep ownership of anything you submit. You grant StashIt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (to the service providers that run StashIt), transferable license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and create derivative works from that content — including by automated and AI-based analysis — for the purposes of operating, providing, and improving the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to share the content you submit, and that submitting it does not violate any law or any third party's rights, including the terms of the platform it came from. You — not StashIt — are responsible for what you choose to share.
4. AI features and accuracy
Product identifications, names, brands, images, matches, and prices in StashIt are generated by automated systems and artificial intelligence. THEY MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR OUT OF DATE, AND ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Prices and availability are valid only at the time they were retrieved. Always verify product details, pricing, and availability with the merchant before purchasing.
5. Merchants, links, and prices
Merchants — not StashIt — sell the products you find through the Service. Your purchases are governed solely by the merchant's terms, and the merchant is solely responsible for its products, pricing, pricing errors, availability, shipping, quality, returns, and support. If something goes wrong with an order, contact the merchant.
6. Affiliate disclosure
Product links in the Service may be sponsored or affiliated, meaning StashIt may earn a commission when you click them or make a purchase. This does not affect the price you pay.
7. Third-party platforms
StashIt is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Apple, or any merchant or platform. All trademarks belong to their owners. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any platform whose content you choose to share with StashIt; StashIt processes that content at your direction.
8. Your Vault
Items saved to your Vault are snapshots and references. The underlying products, pages, and prices can change or disappear, and we do not guarantee that saved items remain accurate or available.
9. Your account
Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete Account) or by emailing support@stashitai.com — see the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers.
10. Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require a paid subscription, purchased through your Apple ID. The price and billing period are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; refund requests go to Apple. If we change a subscription's price, the change applies only after notice to you and, where required, your consent — otherwise your subscription simply won't renew at the new price.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse the Service or interfere with its operation; access it by automated means or scrape it; reverse engineer it except where the law permits; submit content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights; circumvent usage limits or security; resell or redistribute the Service or its data; or use the Service to violate any law or any platform's terms.
12. StashIt's intellectual property
The Service — including the app, website, design, software, and the product database we assemble — belongs to StashIt or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your Apple devices as permitted by these Terms and Apple's usage rules. No other rights are granted.
13. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, email support@stashitai.com with: your contact details, identification of the work and of the allegedly infringing material (with its location), a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove infringing material where appropriate and terminate repeat infringers' accounts.
14. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation, and they become StashIt's property to the extent permitted by law.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STASHIT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — INCLUDING PURCHASES YOU MAKE FROM MERCHANTS AND DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON AI-GENERATED RESULTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) US $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW, OR YOUR NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER UNDER THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY (INCLUDING INDIA, THE EEA, AND THE UK).
17. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold StashIt harmless from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the content you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or any third party's rights — including another platform's terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before filing any claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing support@stashitai.com — most issues are resolved this way. Subject to any non-waivable consumer-law rights you hold where you live, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India. To the extent permitted by applicable law, claims may be brought only in your individual capacity (not as a class member), and must be brought within one year of when they arose.
19. Termination
You can stop using StashIt or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practicable). Sections 3–7 and 13–18 survive termination.
20. Apple App Store terms
The StashIt app is distributed through Apple's App Store, and the following apply when you use it on an Apple device:
- These Terms are between you and StashIt only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app; StashIt is solely responsible for support, at support@stashitai.com.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple gives no warranty for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); otherwise Apple has no warranty obligations.
- StashIt, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app — including product-liability, legal or regulatory, and consumer-protection claims, and any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual-property rights.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting," and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect, and continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.
22. General
If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and StashIt about the Service.
